Starting off, I wanted a fabulous invitation so it had to be custom. I found an image of a wedding dress and then added in the language for the invite:
I printed them off on cream cardstock from Hobby Lobby for $1.99 (on a 50% off day) for 50 pages. I only had to use 15 pages to print 30 5x5 invitations so total expenditure was $1.19 for paper. I also picked up 15 sheets of pale pink cardstock from Hobby Lobby (in stores) to print the wedding website and registry info on the back. Total for those was $2.18 for 15 sheets (on 50% off day). I used spray glue to put the two pages together.
To add a personal touch, I added some pearl ribbon from Hobby Lobby for $1.79 (with 40% off coupon).
I mailed the invites out in 6x6 square envelopes for $0.20 each. I think they turned out so cute - and for a total of $11.93 for 30 I'd say it was a success!
I loved the dress theme so much i decided to extend it to the rest of the shower. I took the same background and applied it to the rest of the papery:
Food description labels
Water bottle labels
Favor labels
Letter for girls to fill out for the bride
Sign on food table
Card for the bride
I used the rest of the cream paper I had in the pack so rest of the expenditure was $0.80. Total shower papery cost was $12.73! If you're not the DIY type, you can purchase the package here.
